A new start! A Calm Sea

I’ve started up another blog under the proxy James Mask, the blog’s called ‘A Calm Sea’. Please direct any new attention there, but head here for the archive:

Bread and Circuses, Famine by Price

Bread and Circuses: Famine by Price
by R.J. Croton
Food is in crisis. The Roman satirist, Juvenal, wrote that once politicians promised and paid out in sound policy, now in ‘bread and circuses’: petty promises which helped speed the Roman Empire’s rotting from within.

About

I’d like to introduce a new author on the site, a long-term reader going by the name of Jon Gregory. I warn you, he’s a filthy, idealistic Marxist! And that’s no exaggeration, in-fact I do believe he is rather proud of the fact. Take a gander at his own site if you wish! http://jongregory89.wordpress.com/

Economics, politics, business, philosophy- those are the things I deal with here. The mere reason for this to exist is to sharpen my skills, and indulge my interests. Please, feel free to comment- and even suggest ideas. I’m willing for most creative endeavours.

I also write stories- a lot- so if you see a story being stuck up here, it’s not departing from the norm for me. If anyone wants any sort of discussion with me, please just comment on the latest post and I’ll do something about it. I do like critics, intellectually, otherwise it’s just preaching- and that’s the last thing I want!

I view most things in terms of the free market and to do with freedom. In America, I’d be called a Libertarian. Everywhere else, I’m a Classical Liberal.
